Hi David, thank you for the compliments. I myself only started blogging this year and still learning the ropes.

With regards to telehealth/telemedicine in the pacific, I have to admit I have very little information of my own. In fact, I only learnt about telemedicine and telehealth when researching for my articles for my blog. However, I can refer you to someone who helped set up a telemedicine portal for Solomon Islands.

Here is the link to the Solomon Islands Telemedicine Network site. You may find information there helpful. And maby you can also contact someone there who might have first hand information on telemedicine in the pacific.

Here is an article about the system - http://ipath.ch/site/node/254

The Solomon Islands Telemedicine portal is maintained by the University of Basel. You can also follow this link to get in touch with Kurt Brauchli who may help you. He helped with the Solomon Islands telemedicine network and has first hand experience.

I hope these helps. Let me know about your blog so I can visit too.

regards

Hello Rodney,

My name is David and I'm new to blogging. First let me say I enjoyed browsing your blog. I hope the one I'm working on is as well done as yours when I finish it.

I've been asked to write articles about telehealth in the deaf community, along with articles on independent living. I was wondering if you have any information you could share about the impact telehealth is having on families in the pacific? I would like to know if you have any resources that you could refer me to.

Thank you in advance for any information you can share.
